    Just a quick question.

I was wondering if there was any way that I could connect an audio conversation with a computer with windows XP? I have windows ME. They can hear me, but I can't hear them. It seems that they are unable to connect to anyone other than XP users. Is this true? If not please help!!!!

    Thanks so much

    Lana

What version of MSN Messenger are you using? It can have problems if you are both using different versions.

Run the wizard and make sure that the sound is working properly while speaking and when playing back.

We both have messenger 6.0. We have both run audio/video tuning wizard. I have used voice confrencing with other windows users, none have been windows XP though. Is there anything else we can try to get this going?

    Thanks again

I don't have an answer for you. I've done voice conferencing to XP users from both my 98SE and XP computers. Hopefully, someone else can resolve the problem for you, or there may be one posted on the MSN Messenger tech site.

Hopefully, the upcoming final version of MSN Messenger 6.1 will resolve some of these problems.
