    me again,

dang MSN 8! One of its features is a 'Messenger Buddy' list on a side panel you can open or close. A neat feature when it works. My problem is when I 'upgraded' to MSN Messenger 6 I started getting this error that says that MSN Messenger has caused an error in dibeng.dll. This happens sometimes immediately, sometimes half way through MSN IM6 connecting and even after it has connected. Sometimes not at all!

    I tried Add/Remove > MSN IM6 > Repair. no luck
I tried downloading a new copy of MSN IM6, Add/Remove and reinstalling it. same problem.

Might my problem be with dibeng.dll?

    From another thread, confirming this:

So no quick fix (as yet), I'm afraid...
