I've got a wierd problem... I know there is in fact no viruses or spyware/hijacks of anykind because I just did a complete format because of a virus I had and no longer have. Anyways to the point...

When I try to do Windows Update using IE 6 SP1 I will not load the page... I got all the updates including SP1... but now I cannot check for anymore updates or get any other updated software (DirectX 9, WM 9... etc)

Also I try going to www.msn.com... that will not load either... it'll go for like 5mins then I get the "Cannot Display" page.

MSN Messenger I tried using the old v4.7 to login... it just saying logging in... go for 5mins then just goes back to the original screen when I gotta login again. So I installed the v6.2 same result. I do not understand wut is working against my internet that will not allow me to access those pages or msn messenger. I am using DSL 3.0mbps on routerpppoe. I can access this page ofcourse... google.com... yahoo.com... stickdeath.com...etc...etc. Just the microsoft website I cannot. I find this really odd for my msn messenger was working fine a week ago and I was able to get some of the updates for windows xp pro this morning after I formatted. I just all out of ideas for this 1...
Thanks,
John

Well thanks for anyone who read this post. I solved my problem... It was my router it was all messed up. So I simply re-set everything and went into DMZ mode and bingo everything works fine now!
