Hi,

Anyone who can help me with the following:

Currently running Win2K , ADSL Broadband Internet, and I'm trying to change the following TCP/IP Registry setting (MTU=1400) to test out Internet speed performance.
It should be sitting in:
HKLM\SYSTEM\Currentcontrolset\services\TCPIP\
Parameters\Interfaces\#interface#MTU="1400"

Well I cannot find this entry at all.

Who can help?

Brgds,

Furthermore, the entry may just not be there, and in that case Windows reverts to the defaults.

Follow up on BrianF's tips to determine the optimum settings for your system.

The easiest way to implement them, if you need to do that manually, is with DSL report's Dr.TCP: http://www.dslreports.com/front/DRTCP019.exe

Good luck,
