i have kids but only one computer and one ip. how do i let everyone use it without them getting into my bookmarks and my e-mail? i leave the id in, and they can't see, but go to my home page and my bookmarks show up. also when i go to mail, it goes automatically, without first checking any id. also all programs, i don't mind them using them, but i want them not to be able to get into them.

Welcome back to TSG! Long time no see.
I do not know which OS you are running but Win98 on up has what is called user profiles that can be setup and accessed through the control panel.
In our home we have 5 users setup and each has there own individual desktop, password, favorites, history, my docs and so on. They also have separate E-mail sub-accounts under the main account. Most ISP have a provision for multiple sub-accounts. Take a look at the user profile function and see if it fits your needs.
