    Hey All,
I have a HP pavillion running windows XP no SP2. When I installed XP on the machine I had to reinstall the multimedia keyboard so I could use the volume control Etc. Now I purchased a new wireless keyboard and thought I had uninstalled the HP key board. I went thru and removed the software and uninstalled in hardware. Now everytime I restart the comp windows tries to reinstall the old hp ps\2 keyboard. I have removed any instances of the kryboard in the registery. I cannot figure out where XP is seeing that it needs to be reinstall. Also, because the software is no longer available I have no drivers for it to install. Can any one direct me on how to keep XP from trying to install the keyboard that is no longer attached?
