I recently copied a number of items from a CD onto my desktop. I also copied them from the desktop onto a flashdrive. I'm not sure what I did but now every time I boot on XP, about 40 copies of shortcuts show up on my desk top. How do I stop this from happening?
    Thanks.

    Welcome ElvisC! :D

Why didn't you just make a folder and put what ever you wanted off the cd into that?

I'm trying to think why this would happen, but I'm at a loss.
