I have an Acer T180 with two SATA connectors on board. I have three hard drives I would like to use. One SATA is used for the CDR-W, and the other for one hard drive. Are there adapters or a daisy chain cable? Any help is greatly appreciated. Bob

With 2 Sata connectors you can only use 2 Sata devices. Assuming the 2 other hard drives are Sata and 3.5" desktop size you could buy a Sata to Usb cable or dock which would let you use the 2 other hard drives.

Something like this adapter :- https://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod...to_usb_2.0_adapter-_-9SIAE785XK4766-_-Product

Or this dock (which will connect 2 drives at the same time) :- https://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod...=sata_3.5_usb_dock-_-9SIA1HE3917722-_-Product

There will be many others you can choose from, just make sure they will work with full size 3.5" Sata hard drives.
Your PC only has Usb 2.0 ports but Usb 3.0 devices will work ok too.

Thank you. I was looking on Amazon and it was confusing. The details act like I am a whiz. Not so, I am a tinkerer building and repairing computers for over 30 years. No formal training.

It is interesting. I like the idea of USB connections. I am going to attempt building my own presentations for a proposed web page. On one drive, I end up with a mess. I use some USB sticks but rather have the space of hard drives.
