    I need help installing two monitors on my computer

    The last person who tried to help me had me check one particular option and now I have nothing but a black screen

    They had me go to display options and press I believe it was extension in the monitor choices and it came up something was this option May not be compatible with certain apps or something like that Hadley press you know how to apply it and now I have a black screen so I can't even get back on my desktop to try and connect the new monitor

    I was trying to hook up a second monitor I had one person help me and they had me go to display options had me press I believe it was extension and something else and now I have a black screen so I can't even get on my desktop to hook up a second monitor

    Correct all I can see is my little arrow from moving my mouse around

    Does removing the second monitor make any difference? I'm guessing not.

    Do you remember exactly what you did? Can you get into Safe Mode?

    Gr3iz my screen showed that I had a notice another answer but I don't know if that was you cuz nothing is so far showed up at my end

    There now you showed up how do I get into safe mode because the second monitor was never working and my main monitor is just black with the cursor showing

    I can't remember exactly what I pressed the exactly cuz first I try to call HP tech support waited for about 30 minutes just to get somebody on the line try talking to them and then they wouldn't help me unless I paid them I'm disabled trying to get disability so I have absolutely no income to pay them so then I found this site through my phone online so here we are

    no I haven't disconnected the second monitor yet and I'm running a Windows 10
