So I booted up my computer today and all of a sudden it's booting up an old version of windows 7 (I run windows 10) so I knew something was wrong with my ssd which has my current windows 10 OS on it. I go into the bios and it's no longer detecting my ssd. I moved some sata cables around and tried various ports and cables and got it to detect once. Now it's not detecting at all. I'm not quite sure what to do from here.

If the SSD is not detected in the Bios using the same data and power cables that work for the other drive then the SSD is probably faulty.

Can you test the SSD in another computer ?
