music feedback

    Sounds like Alvin the chipmunk is singing every song. My hardrive went out and was replaced when I started to listen to a cd it sounded funny so I went to launchyahoo.com were I also listen to music and it sounds the same way.

    when you harddrive went out - what did you do - rebuild windows - did you update and instal all the drivers.

    whats the sound card?

    have a look in device maanger and see what the sound device is listed as

    to identify hardware try these free programs

    Start, run, type dxdiag and click ok.

    Sound 1 tab, and try reducing the 'hardware sound acceleration level'.
