music videos not loading in firefox

hi.... hope someone has an answer....i am running XP Pro, using Mozilla Firefox (tho i am having same isssue using IE) when i try to view and listen to music videos online, from any website, and even trying it via myspace.com the videos just dont load.... i get a complete black box where i should be seeing the video....i have updated flash programs, got the latest adobe version, tried media players.... all the same.... whats going on? any help would make me o-so-happy....... thanks, deb

 

Did you check to see if your media players are allowed in your firewall?

check out this article here some people have had success by downloading the 3 dll files in the "missing plugin" section and placing them in C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player, per the instructions.

if that does not work there's other info in the article that may help
