I downloaded a calculator the other night and I didn't like it so I uninstalled it. Thats when things happpened. I could not open any applications on my computer (now here is where it gets goofy) except Microsoft apps! I can open Ecel, Word and go on the internet with Explorer but thats it except for only one program and thats The old Printmaster gold. Programs that I have now that don't open: Quicken Books ( an boy do I need that now), all Adobe photo software, Spotify, Firefox( my main browser), Skype, Art Explosion Publisher Pro and Etc. In fact one of the error messages is in a Microsoft Visual C ++ Runtime Library.

I have the free AVG anti virus and Malwarebytes Anti Malware. Your help would be greatly appreciated. I'm thinking its an easy fix but have my fingers crossed.
