    Hi All,

Hope you can help me please. My Windows 7 laptop won't shut down normally. The screen shows it's shutting down but it just continues on and on.

I Have to remove battery to close down. (Not good)
Start up is also quite slow. When it's running everything seems to work normally. Not slow or sluggish.

I have Kasperky Internet Security. I do regular scans using Malwarebytes, SUPERantispyware & Kaspersky.

I would appreciate any help anyone could offer.

    Thanks

    Pete

Strange but it seems to have rectified itself. I have uninstalled Skype from my hard drive. I have a feeling SKYPE was the problem. I noticed that my laptop freezes for approx 20 seconds once each day at different times. This has been happening for a number of months. It's not happened since deleting Skype. Interesting to find out if others had issues with Skype.

    Thanks for reply
