My Computer PLEASE HELP!

    I have Windows XP. Whenever i log on in to my account my computer automatically appears on screen it just pops up. How do i stop this from happening. Please HELP!

    Not sure what you are asking here.. What automatically pops up on your screen after you login to Windows XP?

    First My Computer loads up then my firewall then windows live messenger, i just do not want my computer loading up at all mate so please can you help!

    When you say "My Computer", you mean a windows explorer window showing the contents of My Computer physically pops up on the screen?

    The first place I would look would be:
    1) Start-->Run--> type msconfig
    2) Click Open
    3) Select the Startup tab, and uncheck the items you don't want starting up

    yeah my computer comes up automatically showing everything in it like when you double click it normally. when i followed your instructions mate i could not find it in the list so is there another way or am i doing something wrong. please help!

    try using system restore.
