It seems as if my HP Pavilion laptop with Windows 7 wants me to tie dynamite to it and light it up!!

Problem: Regardless of browser, no websites load besides Google related sites.

Twist: I have another laptop, an iPad and 2 iPhones using the same connection without a problem.
(Everything seems to work fine in safe mode as well.)

Suspect Cause: A blue screen of death.

    Failed solutions:
    Malware scans
    Virus scans

Many thank yous in advance, you handsome young gentleman.

What firewall or security suite is, or ever was, on the system?

My security consists of Avast, Malwarebytes and Comodo Firewall.

Uninstall Comodo and run the Removal Tool if necessary. You can reinstall if desired after testing.
