No matter what website I choose to go to I am able to do so, and rather quickly. But I cannot get to <www.google.com>. It is very aggravating since it is such a popular site.
If you can help me work this out, please do.
    Thank you.

    Browse to:

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

    Click on hosts.

Choose Notepad from the list of programs to open the file with.

Copy the content and paste it into your next reply.

    # This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each

    # 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host

    127.0.0.1 localhost

1- Please click HERE to download HijackThis.

    2- Run the program.

3- Click on the Main Menu button if not already there.

4- Select Do a system scan and save a logfile.

5- Copy and paste the scan log from Notepad into your next reply. Do not attach it.

6- Do not "Fix" anything unless advised to do so.

Please do not start more than one thread for the same issue.

I closed the other thread where Phantom was helping you with this that you abandoned over a week ago.

    http://forums.techguy.org/web-email/1083550-google-not-working-correctly.html

Please continue working in this one until the issue is resolved.

I see you also have another thread about problems installing Flash. Both of these problems may be tied together. What happens when you try to install Flash?
