Hi drek24, and welcome to TSG.

You're not giving us anything to work with here. How about telling us ...

    1) Brand and model number of the computer.

    2) If it is a desktop computer, the brand and model number of the connected monitor and the type of connection to the computer.

    3) Do any fans spin up and remain running?

    4) Any lights on the computer or keyboard stay on or blink?

    5) Any beeps from the computer?

If that computer is a Dell, it has a "service tag" number and "express service code" number on its labels/stickers.
Please advise us what those numbers are.

You appear to have a Dell Dimension 2400 desktop with a Dell 17" CRT monitor.
    Is that correct?

If it is a Dimension 2400, right below the PS/2 connectors for the keyboard and mouse are 4 tiny diagnostic lights marked A B C and D.

Turn the computer on, turn the case around and post what color each of those lights is.
