my cursor is moving by its self

    my cursor is moveing all arond

    cleaned the mouse
    bought a new 1
    did a visuse scan came up clean
    i have a dell latitude d800 idk the specs or were ti find them

    You're using a USB mouse on the laptop, right?

    Have you tried placing it on a mousepad???? What kind of surface are you using it on??????

    im useing a flat dresser i dont have a mouse pad it dose it when the mouse is up in the air and unpluged i said that the 1st time i posted it but evry thing got closed

    Are you able to use the built in mouse trac without the USB plugged in?

    Did an external mouse EVER work for you?

    yes it dose it without the plug in and with its a new problem

    Is there a time during the day, say when you FIRST turn the laptop on that it works ok? I'm thinking heat?

    um i never turn it off but ill shut it down more offten im thinking theres a problem with the ball in the middle of it cuz it only starts when i type

    new mouse....did it with old mouse....i said i did a scan and it was clean iv doe a number of scans....


    heat wasnt the problem i just booted up after it been off all night and it did it 1st thing

    it only starts to move when i start to type

    Wonder if it's a driver issue. Does it do it in safemode?
