my formula gets #NUM! error

    Hi,

    i am trying to use this formaula..

    =($AN$12+(3*(SQRT((($AN$12)*(100-$AN$12))/($AN$14)))))

    but i keep getting the #NUM! error. can anyone help me sort out why as i cant see anything wrong

    whats in the cells / format of an12 and an14

    i just copied to a spread sheet
    put 20 in an12
    put 400 in an14

    got an answer of 26

    thanks for your help... but to be honest i have just realised that i was linking to the wrong cells :eek:

    its working ok now thanks :)
