my friends dell i5 with windows seven wont boot up windows

most recent software add was this seemingly cool stopkilla antivirus
but now what since he doesnt have restore disks ready?pls help god bless

Has he tried booting into Safe Mode?

How to Access Safe Mode

While the computer is turning on, tap F8 repeatedly until a black screen with white text appears. Using your arrow keys highlight the option Safe Mode and hit Enter.

sounds goed tried on his dell but was no go haha any suggestions helpful he said he will make restore disks as soon as his desktop boots up but for now its gettin to that thats the problem any other shortcuts for safe mode?

is it just f8 on a dell or ctr f8? isnt doing anything but beeping haha oh btw whats your take on stopzilla?loeked pretty decent while we were loeking at it scanning so other than f8 you would suggest restore disks or?

so hehe stopzilla is goed or?ive tried avast and there was a clam win one personally i use firefox browser and avast. my friend has a restore set from a compaq with seven on it?would he have any luck with that?hes a wow player and he likes to be online so this uh killing him haha jk well lets put it this way hes very sorry he spent 750 on a new computer from frys electronics who had to reload 7 for him in the first place since they put an admin pw when they sold it to him off the floor to price match one at best buy
anything is helpful.even the dell site says F8 is supposed to work.it isnt control+ f8? he tried it both ways and just beeps
