    I know my scanreg is not running in start up..That's because it just keeps saying there is problem and it starts over and over and over, you get the picture..So i disabled it.

    You should re-boot your computer and then give us a fresh copy of your HighJackThis log again. It looks as though this one is after you have ENDED TASK on several things. A fresh one will let us know exactly where we stand.

    What problems are you having?

    You have a few things UN-CHECKED in "msconfig" that shouldn't be.

    (2) LoadPowerProfiles

    Do you have any Anti-Virus Software installed on this machine? If you do, it isn't showing up either.

    What kind (brand) of computer is this?

    Is this the other post you are referring too?
