hi all, the last week or so my computer has been running really slow, disconnecting me from the internet frequently, and my mouse has begun to stick just momentarily. It takes alot more time to open windows and close them. I installed 2 programs for my grandchildren, Jumpstart Kindergarten and Jumpstart First grade. I deleted them yesterday and today it is doing much better but still lagging.. I am wondering what could be the problem.. I have run my virus scanner, avast, and spybot and adaware. Maybe something different? Thanks alot in advance.. Jeanne

ok, I told it to fix, shutdown, downloaded hijackthis and here is the log. Question: when the scan finished it said to remove or patch a trojan MS Java VM. The microsoft was not supporting this anyway so it would be better to remove it. It also said it comes from Adult sites they think pop-ups. I was getting a whole lot of nasty pop-ups after I allowed my 17 year old grandson to use my computer.. They havent been on here lately since I ran spybot and adaware.. I probably got it from his use. anyway here it is.. now what do you think?

I really thank you soooooo much! Yes, the computer is running much better.. I haven't been knocked offline once this time.. the mouse seems to be working right now, I have an old slow Celeron 400 computer but it does just fine for my needs. I don't play many games just the old standby card games.. but it sure is nice to be able to open a program when I want to.. do I need to patch or delete that Java program? I don't want to get it back. and sometimes my grandson comes in here.. I also have 2 very little ones 4 and 6 so they don't need to be seeing that crap pop up on the screen. I again thank you very very much.
