image.jpg image.jpg So i have this problem with my laptop, when i power it on, it flashes “restoring your previous version of windows” then it disappears and shuts down my computer then my computer would automatically turn on again and it goes with the same loop again. Any ideas how to fix this?

If u can get into bios u might be able run a diagnostics. Also u could try booting from Linux with a usb. Not a lot of info to go on but that might help.

What exactly do you mean by 'reset' ?
What is on the screen that's giving an option to do it ?
How did you get to that screen ?

Need to ask because there are a few different types of 'reset', some using Windows, some using a built-in recovery partition on the hard drive.

I don't know if it will fix anything but you will have to do it eventually.

That's good. Did you have to do anything else to fix it after the hard reset ?
