My mouse is frozen on my pc

    My mouse is completely frozen on my pc I am using windows xp I have tried other mice in my pc but the cursor won't budge at all I have tried all the trouble shooting tips but nothing seems to work please help

    You didn't mention if the mouse is connected to the round PS/2 port or to one of the rectangular USB ports.

    If the problem is continuing even after changing mice, it's not a mouse problem.

    Make sure that you're not using it on a glossy or reflective surface.

    Have you tried restarting the computer?

    if using a USB port? try using it in another port. and remember you have to restart the computer every time you plug it in
