Ok before anyone calls my an Idiot for not checking the Regional Settings in th Control Panel, lets just say I did and it is set to "Engelska (Amerikansk)" to me it looks like "English (Americans)" and thats what I need it set to. But not all of my pc is like this, just the End Process box and Error messages...

Like End Process comes up as StÄng program, exactly like that only with a lower case a. The list of processes are in English, as is everything elase but the popup errors, and the end process manager.

    Running Windows 98 SE
Can someone please help me  ?

Have you downloaded from the internet and installed any DLL recently?

    Or some application recently installed?

sorry to double post, but I found the problem, I recently downloaded a new kernal32.dll, because I was getting so many errors, like IE6 causinf page faults in kernal32.dll. But the one I downloaded is in Swedish Language.

Another problem though.... I cannot find an english version, so could somebody give me a link to it, or copy yours and upload it somewhere to let me download it.

It is C:\windows\kernal32.dll by default and is a hidden file.

lol... just as I found out what it was you reply....

Start > Run > type SFC and press Enter.

You will need the Windows 98SE installation CD.

Try running the tool to extract the correct file, but do type it correctly:

    KERNEL32.DLL

Extract from the CD and place it in the correct folder.

For your IE problems, are you running IE6SP1?

    Have you tried a repair?

    Add/Remove Programs > double-click Microsoft Internet Explorer > select Repair > Next > OK.

    Reboot when finished and test.

    Good luck.
