I'll bet a security expert will be along shortly ... when they wake up.
They usually ask that Ewido be run on the system first.... http://www.ewido.net/en/
Their procedure is to D/L Ewido ... Update it ... then run it in safe mode.
    Hope this helps a little.

Where the hell do I start.
Have you got rid of the viruses? Make sure you get the latest updates for your anti virus software, then run a full system scan.

After that, post a Hijack This log. Remember to have no other programs open on your desktop when you run it, I hate big logs.

your games running at slow fps could be any number of things.

    Hence, Hijack This.
I cannot offer any help without a Hijack This log.
    Instructions are in that link.
As said above, you can try the free version of Ewido which may help, unfortunately most of the crapware now installs multiple files and registry entries which all need removing at once, otherwise they keep reproducing.

Where abouts is the location of the downloader according to ad-aware?

Arr, yes the good old system volume folder.
Ok, well the system volume folder is a proteced area, in other words. The system puts in, but you can't delete out of it without modifying permissions.

Easiest thing to do, Right click my computer and select properties.
    Select the system restore tab.
Turn off system restore, this may take a few seconds to do because it deletes all the old system restore points and your DOWNLOADER along with it.

Once this has been done, turn it back on again. That should have removed the file you are having rouble with.

    Regards
