My husbands ex-coworker said he was able to help speed up my laptop, i agreed to let him try and help as long as he DID NOT DELETE my pictures or videos because they were the only ones i had and very special to me. Instead of helping me figure out the problem i got my laptop back because it was taking too long with no information on what he was doing. When i went onto it my screen was cracked WORSE than it was already and on top of that everything BUT MY PHOTOS and VIDEOS were there. He erased all of my memories! I cried for almost a month not being able to find any remains of them in the trashcan or any other folder. He told me they should have been on my cloud, which i thought was weird because i did not have that on my laptop before. I checked the folder and there was nothing there. They guy proceeded to say "Well I don't know what to tell you"
Here I am months later desperate to find them with little hope. Please If Anyone can help I appreciate it so much. Thank you in advanced.

Please download our free SysInfo utility. When you run it, it will show technical specifications of your computer. Please copy and paste that information in your next reply.

Also, why did you not have these photos and videos backed up on an external drive or CD?

It may be possible to undelete the files with a tool such as Recuva from https://www.ccleaner.com/recuva/download.
To avoid installing it and overwriting files, use the portable version and run it from a USB stick. Recover the files and burn them to CD/DVD for backup!
