Hey guys, new member here so apologies if this is the wrong category for this issue but as I'm unaware of the cause this seems as good a category as any!

For about a week now I've been having a problem with my screen flickering.

From what I can tell it seems to be linked to Medieval Total War 2 mods as I first noticed the flickering while played "Third Age: Total War" mod. I have now deleted this mod and thought the problem was fixed but now it has begun to show up in different mods for TW. It has now begun to happen on YouTube and sometimes home screen too. I restarted my PC, tried YouTube again and it worked fine without flickering but as soon as I try to load up Medieval 2 it starts making the screen flicker again. This is my first ever gaming pc so apologies if this is a noob question but i'd like to try find a solution that doesn't require me to stop playing a game I love!

A DETAILED description of your computer and its monitor would be helpful to the hardware/gaming experts here.

Also, please do the following in your computer:
Download and save the TSG System Information Utility (SysInfo.exe) file.
After it's been downloaded and saved, double-click it to run it.
Information about your computer will appear.
Return here to your thread, then copy-and-paste the ENTIRE text here.

Your gaming PC appears to have these specs and performance scores:

    cpu.JPG gpu.JPG
    ASUS PRIME B450M-A Motherboard
    128 GB SSD
    2 TB HDD
    16 GB DDR4-3200 RAM
    (no description of PSU)
Acer Nitro VG270Ubmiipx 27" WQHD Gaming Monitor

The monitor appears to have a native resolution of 2560 X 1440 and uses a HDMI connection.
Does the graphics card have the most current driver installed?

I'm not a hardware/gaming expert, so be patient until someone here who is replies.
    Good luck. (y)

Yessir, I've downloaded and redownloaded the latest driver once or twice to no avail. Starting to think the first driver update might be what messed it up in the first place...
