My screen saver will not work. I made sure I clicked apply, and set the time for 1 minute, but nothing happens. I am on Windows XP. I do not get any error messages, and the only new thing I have installed is a wireless Microsoft mouse, which is when I think my screensaver stopped working, but I can't be sure. I tried using the pipes (screensaver) and my own personal pictures, but nothing works.

Probably a good guess that the mouse is causing it. If the computer thinks the mouse is moving, the screensaver wont turn on. Test is out. Remove the wireless mouse and try a standard PS/2 mouse again.

I have a Logitech wireless mouse and the ScreenSaver works, but I have a switch that I use to turn off the mouse when not in use.

So, I did as you suggested, and that is the problem. Question is, will I be able to use the wireless mouse and still use the screensaver? Is there a way to fix that problem?
I guess it was a very easy fix, however, it just seems like the screensaver should work with the w/l mouse.
