Hi, Welcome to TSG!! :)

Run HJT again and put a check in the following:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Real Internet Player] REAIPLAY.EXE
O4 - HKCU\..\RunOnce: [Real Internet Player] REAIPLAY.EXE
O16 - DPF: {15AD4789-CDB4-47E1-A9DA-992EE8E6BAD6} - http://public.windupdates.com/get_f...245bc6f8b5fbb1c

Close all applications and browser windows before you click "fix checked".

Restart in Safe Mode

Open Windows Explorer. Go to Tools, Folder Options and click on the View tab.
Make sure that "Show hidden files and folders" is checked.
Also uncheck "Hide protected operating system files".
Now click "Apply to all folders", Click "Apply" then "OK"

Delete this file --> C:\WINDOWS\System32\REAIPLAY.EXE

Reboot.

Make a folder for Hijackthis.exe like Program Files\HJT
Download the new version of Hijackthis.
Unzip the file to the folder on your hard drive.

Log in as your son's profile and double click on Hijackthis.exe then click on the "Scan" button, then click on "Save Log".

Don't make any changes until instructed to do so.

RJCaldwell, you still need to run a new HiJack This log...the version you ran last time is an OLD version. telecom69 posted the link to the new version for you. The one you used is the OLD version. You still need a new version. Liz

Also, I suggest running spyware blaster -link below, if son is such an avid surfer.... an extra bit of solid protection running in the background online.:)

I'd also recomend installing Firefox, and having your son browse with that. There are a few less ways to get infected using Firefox (vs IE).

Run HJT again and put a check in the following:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Zoom Video Player] ZOOMPLAY.EXE
O4 - HKCU\..\RunOnce: [Zoom Video Player] ZOOMPLAY.EXE

Close all applications and browser windows before you click "fix checked".

Restart in safe mode

Open Windows Explorer. Go to Tools, Folder Options and click on the View tab. Make sure that "Show hidden files and folders" is checked. Also uncheck "Hide protected operating system files". Now click "Apply to all folders"
Click "Apply" then "OK".

Delete this file: C:\WINDOWS\System32\ZOOMPLAY.EXE

Empty your recycle bin.

Reboot.

Please post a log from all of the users on this machine. Just make a notation such as user 1, user 2 etc

That's clean. Did you get rid of zoomplayer or is it still a problem?
