My ssd won't show up

    So i've installed a new ssd however i put it where my CD place is with all the cables were are now in my ssd how do i make it so that my SSD will work and show up properly

    If your SSD is the main boot drive with Windows then you should connect to SATA port 0 if possible. Although not necessay but offers best results in my experience. What is the make and model of your motherboard?

    Your post is pretty hard to understand. From what I can ascertain, you installed a ssd drive in a 5 1/4 bay where a CD drive used to be located.

    How did you mount the drive ie did you use an adapter to mount in a 5 1/4 or what?
    Did you connect pw and data cables to the drive?
    Did you partition/format the drive in disk management?
