The cd's are silver with 700mb and 80minutes. That is all I know at the momemnt. Please help trying to backup my music.

My toshiba laptop running windows 7 will not detect memorex cd's

How exactly are you trying to back up your music? Using what program? What steps? What is the exact error message, if any, that you get? I highly doubt the problem is with the brand of disk.

only blank cd's are not being detected every other cd's are
If I can get my computer to detect the cd's i will be great
