Hello everyone!
So, I'm having this issue where when I close the lid to my Windows 8.1 HP Notebook
COMPUTER INFORMATION:
Tech Support Guy System Info Utility version 1.0.0.2
OS Version: Microsoft Windows 8.1, 64 bit
Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU 3825U @ 1.90GHz, Intel64 Family 6 Model 61 Stepping 4
Processor Count: 4
RAM: 8107 Mb
Graphics Card: Intel(R) HD Graphics, 1024 Mb
Hard Drives: C: Total - 685465 MB, Free - 630296 MB; D: Total - 28036 MB, Free - 3131 MB;
Motherboard: Hewlett-Packard, 80C1
Antivirus: Windows Defender, Disabled
The computer goes into sleep mode, which is fine normally but my computer won't charge any of my devices (they charge if the computer is on). I have three USB outlets, and none of them charge when the computer is in sleep mode, however I did try to fix this myself beforehand and I will explain what I did so no one suggests it:
I went to my device manager > Universal Serial Bus controllers > USB Root Hub (xHCI) > Properties > Power Management (tab) > and I unchecked "Allow computer to turn off this device to save power"
I've been told that the above should fix it, but it hasn't worked. Also, I only have one USB Root Hub and I should have three because I have three USB Ports.
Any help would be appreciated, thank you very much!
