my video clips keep disappearing on Face-Book

when I go on Face-Book and someone sends me a video clip to watch-as soon as I clip on it--it disappears and I can only hear the sound but cant see the picture. It sometimes re-appears but goes off again. I tried to ask Face-Book for help many times but it seems useless to get an answer.. Can you suggest something?

try watching a video on youtube if the problem is the same as facebook

Update the flash player. Uncheck the optional download. It is not needed.
