Usually Ohio recieves the bulk of it's snowfall after the 1st and Christmas is often not a snowy event.
This year it is different and it's being called in our area the 'Dayton' snow storm.

    :D:_:D

up to 20 inches of snow
    Yeehaw.........:D

Our storm has been named the "Arctic Blast." Every station, every meteorologist is calling it that. It JUST stopped snowing here, but I think it might still be snowing where I'm heading. Gabzilla is fuh-reakin out! :D

It has been light snow all night, but it is just starting to stick here.
This is the earliest snow I have seen since I moved here 8 years ago.

It's coming our way as well, only difference when it gets here it will be in the form of rain. :)
We had a white Christmas 2 years ago. I believe there was a little snow on the ground last year but 2 years ago not only was the ground white but we had an OK snow on Christmas day.

Yeah in that picture the streets are even clear. Now if you couldn't see the tops of the tires of the cars in the picture then that would be snow. Like this.

My White Christmas sounds like a drug reference.
Especially when the guy who started it is named Stoner.
Just to let you know what the juvenile minds are thinking.

Good thing I don't go outside much. Weather says snow for today and tomorrow.
Snow reminds me of the time my dad hooked up a chain to the pickup and pulled a car hood sled around the pasture.
