When tying to boot up a win 95 computer I get the
little key symbol. Obviously a password is required. This is not the win 95 log on password but an earlier password required for the computer to ever start a load of Win 95

    Suggestions"

    Hi scottscott,

Sorry for the delay, there was a technical hitch,
but all should be well now.
If the system is asking for a password BEFORE win
has loaded, then my guess is that would be
    a 'BIOS' password.
I have never met one myself but thats what it
    sounds like to me.
If this is on a laptop, then it may be difficult
to remove, but on a normal home computer setup
it isn't very hard, but it does mean opening
    the case up.

    Regards, John

I'd suggest contacting the computer maker and ask them what to do.
