I can't access my D-Link NAS's server remotely from my tethered laptop. My desktop (connected to the router by Ethernet) works fine. I can access the files and also the server on the NAS. When I try to access the NAS from a remote location using my laptop tethered to my phone I can access the files OK, but can't get at the server controls. My ISP is Virgin Media and they supplied the router. My broadband phone SP to which my laptop is tethered is 3. I have a suspicion that this is somehow concerned with port forwarding or DynDNS. I have selected a static IP address as the setting for the server as I believe people have had problems with virgin, dynamicDNS and remote servers in the past and can connect my desktop by entering this IP address, but cant get anywhere remotely. The MyDlink software also works fine and the App works on the phone for accessing files.
    Cheers
