    I recently installed NAV. It maybe that the settings are not correct.
    I get the following message when I try to quit an excel document -
    Microsoft excel is waiting for a virus scan of offitems.log"
    could somebody please help. It seems to take ages to quit.
    I do think I need it to scan documents that I am working on.

    Apr 26, 2003
    Open NAV Options and select "Auto-Protect". Near the bottom there is an option to select either Comprhensive file scanning or smartScan. Select Comprhensive scan.
