    I'm not sure what either one of those are. Maybe you should have added a third option like

    The yellow pages directory......that's what I use. (y)

    Haven't used NDS, so I really can't compare. Still, I'd say LDAP is as close as it gets to perfect. AD is the usual MS bloatware.

    Actually, I guess a comparison between LDAP and AD is faulty. I should remove that post. A directory service is basically a database of various names and addresses/contacts. Not much more, but MS finds ways to turn it into a headache anyway.
