First I'm not very competent about drivers unless it is self extacting--but Hopefully I can get some help?

    I bought a wingman attack 2-joy stick.

I need a file from windows 98se-to complete the instillation.

To be exact--the file hidusb.sys on windows 98se cd rom can not be found because I do not have a 98 se disc. I do not have the driver!

This is what is read to me trying to get a driver---The Nt kern.vxd device could not load the device driver --code 2.

That's all the info for now. Can anyone help???

The simple way would be to download again, save, and direct to C/Windows/System

    Thanks rachet--no luck.

Got the last driver placed in correctly--says the hidusb sys.not installed. Went to windows--try to unzip it to no avail.

My interface--whatever shows an !-saying there was a problem.

Downloaded the hidusb again --still same problem.

    I give up!

Anyone want a used cheap joystick?

    Sorry, didn't catch the Zip.

Do you understand Zip= compressed file?

Do you have WinZip? If so you need to extract to C:/Windows/System

    I use Freezip;

If you need some help, I'll walk you thru it.

I a little confused, Go to Windows Explorer, check in C:/Windows/System and see if hidusb.Sys and hidclass.sys are there. If they are not there you should use Find Files or Folders to find out where they are.

For hidclass.sys, open Win Zip, find the unzipped files for it,
hold the Crtl key and click to highlight each file. Then click Extract To, browse to find C/Windows/System then OK.

Sorry for all the confusion--I obviously do not know what I am doing. I've got the hidsub there--in drivers it says-not installed-I know you are telling me what to do--But with no training I am trying to get through this thing . I can not find hidclass-showing in windows-but drivers says it is installed--then I show an error occurred in human interface device--I'll work on this tonight--thanks.
