    In order to help you, you need to post some more info;
    1 What is the intended use ie gaming, video rendering, general office stuff, what?
    2 What is the budget?
    3 Do you want to go intel or amd?
    4 Do you intend to overclock?

    Gamming, squad, post scriptum, arma3 and whatever comes around, budget would be 1200-1400 cad, don't care amd or intel, all i want is good stuff for the buck and some overclocking capability.

    No need for peripherals, but considering a 27 monitor 144 Mhz, not included in the budget and no need for OS as i already own windows 10.

    Thanks for the help

    OK, since this is your first build, I would advise you to go intel. While ryzen has incredible performance, ryzen builds do need extra "Tuning" in the bios. With an intel, you can just put the parts together and it works.

    That should give you some idea of what you need. That list is by no means set in stone. I did not include a case since that is a very subjective endeavor; what I like you might not like.

    Just a word of advise. Since this is your first build, spend some time reading, watching videos, etc on how to actually do the build. If possible, have a knowledgeable friend watch you do the build.

    Parts for a gaming type system are not cheap and you do not want to fry a motherboard because you did not install a standoff correctly.
