What, exactly, do you mean by an EXE fix? Are you attempting to repair an association or is it something else?

The attached zip file is the registry key for the association of an .exe file in W2K Pro. Don't import it into your registry, but rather, determine if one like it exists in your registry. If you can't find one, then import the one in the attachment. If it doesn't work, delete it.

    Attached Files:

    • exe.zip
      File size:
      307 bytes
      Views:
      16

Hey Thank you so much for your help Arky! :)
    I'm thinking that the association...
Well the problem is that none of the .exe files do not work if I double click on them no matter where they are located " NEW or OLD " .exe files
They do however work with the RUN Programs
My son did something in KaZaa and he doesn't remember what message came up at the time, so needless to say I DON'T KNOW EITHER
I did find the the TROJ AGENT.ES
I was able to get rid of that, but also lost the .exe files somehow
AVG-Grisoft, Norton's 2005 (trial), Panda, MacFees,Mac Stinger and HOUSE CALL is the one that finally got it (y)

I have to work at 4:30 Am in the morning so I'll be trying reslove this on Sunday or Monday.
Again thank you so much for your help :)
