    Hi,
I'm trying to host a game server for Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2 with the D-link DI-524, and I can't get the server to work properly, even with ports open and DMZ. I have tried not only port forwarding and DMZ, but port triggering, changing my local IP from dynamic to static, and disabling the software firewalls I have and leaving the ports open there, but it all fails. :( It seems like it is an outgoing connection problem, because I don't get the message in the game saying I failed to connect, but the server won't display on the public game list.
The server works when I make a direct connection to the modem, as in not using the router, but then the other PCs using Internet from the router can't at that time, so I'm trying to host with the router. The only possible way right now someone can join the server with the router is if they enter my external (public, WAN) IP; but it should display on the game list, but it won't. I have attached my firewall rules page, with the necessary ports forwarded.
Does anyone know what to do?
    Thanks, Jason

Time for a bump (I think the rules said 2 days.) Somone has loaned me a D-link DIR-655 for a few days, and the server works! I'm thinking the DI-524 then is too low of horsepower. Then it looks like I will have to buy another router. :(
