Bluescreen used to mean a faulty driver, memory problems, or a system poo. I dont know if vista is the same, but you should ring microsoft tech support (since you will still be under the 90 day mark for free support)

Is this a real blue screen, or just dump?

Do you have the option of looking at details?

When it first started to happen the computer restarted randomly, so I desabled retsart on system failure, so I could read the bluescreen and with a bit of luck fix the problem, all I get now is my monitor will switch off as if its in standby mode, I've turned all screensavers off, disbaled all powersaving and it still does it.

Errors/hangups/etc., that I've had in Vista don't generate a 'details' window, and link to the MS help site, like they did in XP. If it did link there, you'd have seen a mushroom cloud near Redmond Oregon by now, where the MS servers are.:D :D :D
