I need a bit of help with my laptop right now :(
After dropping it I got the "BOOTMGR Image is corrupted, the system cannot boot." error

I tried to use a repair disk and also a installation disk but after loading the disk it the mouse comes up but the screen is black.

I also tried to use F10 to fix the problem, it just brings me to edit boot options.

    Any help is appriciated, thanks.

    I have a Sony VAIO VGN-SR29VN running windows 7.

When you press the power button start tapping the F8 key
Your after start a list - On this list is -
    Last Known Good Configuration.
This is suppose to repair one of the keys in the Registry to
    startup if I'm not mistaken.
I can't remember were I saw the information while looking for
    something else.
