    The setup:

    Router < switch<2computers

The linksys router I bought doesn't allow any bandwidth management so I was wondering if there was anyway to put a hard cap on the NICs in order to do this. This way if computer B wants to download the new demo of farcry or what have you on fileplanet, computer A's ping in ut2k4 doesn't go through the roof :)

Does anyone have any ideas on how to get this done? Putting a hard cap on the nic would be great, but I have no idea how I would do that. I also wouldn't like extra programs running on either of our computers just so we can download slower :). Would chaning the tcp recieve window size in registry help me out on this one as well?
