I need to record some .mov files to videotape. The only equipment I have to do this is an old Win 98se Pentium 200MHz with 128MB RAM and ATI All in Wonder PCI card.

I have done this before with no problem except that I was taping from .mpg files that I could play full screen using Windows Media Player or the ATI player.

The AIW card’s player software doesn’t play .mov files; so I installed latest version of Quicktime. Unfortunately the files still don’t play, I get error –8992 and only get corrupted sound. Tried opening them with WMP but I get “unable to download an appropriate decompressor” error. So now I guess the question is there some software that can convert .mov to .mpg?

The .mov files do work on my XP box with Quicktime but I don’t have any video out on this card.
