I have a logo that we want to put onto shirts and I need to have my PNG (or whatever format is needed) converted to DST format for use at the embroidery shop. They don't offer the service for a fee, so I'm looking to see if there are any freeware / shareware tools that are available.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for the reply. I've attached the image to this post. Please let me know if this is good, I have a bigger, master PNG if needed.

Also, if you would like anything in return, please private message me your info and I will send something off to you.

Sewing thread (Embroidery) can't do Gradients, only solid colors.
    Is this OK ???

    Noyb,

Thank you for the help. I noticed a couple things that I didn't handle correctly on my side and it became glaringly apparent when I looked at your DST image. Could you work your magic one more time with the attached?

Didn't like the clipped edge ????
More than 200 pixels wide would have helped .. But I have to redraw it anyway.
Is this better ??? .. You can manually choose better thread colors when it's stitched, my choices are limited

LOL...yes, the clipped edge was one, but it was clipped on my original. The second thing was I didn't like how the two rings looked like they were laying on top of one another. I now have the green overlapping the blue in the front and vice versa in the back.

This is perfect! Thank you for your help. Again, if there's anything you need or would like in return, please let me know. Your help is greatly appreciated.

I hate to trouble you one more time, but this may be a general question about DST files. The embroidery shop had a problem, she said that they were able to resize the image down to 2" x 2", but when she did, the thread count did not adjust accordingly. The resulting stitch caused the fabric to "bunch up". Not knowing anything about the machinery, I thought I might be able to turn to you. Do you have experience using these machines? Is there something she can do on her end to have the thread count adjust as the image is resized? Would it be easier to have the DST output be 2" x 2"?

I don't know what their problem is .. But you should've told me you wanted 2 inches.
And 2 inches may be getting too small

Thank you for the "final" fix. I didn't realize they were looking for 2x2 or I would've mentioned that in the original post. I apologize. They have it at the embroidery shop now.

Is there a way to size it a tad bigger so that the tire is stitched a little more clearer? THanks so much in advance!

It's already at my maximum hoop size.
There's too much detail in the tread design
