I'm interested in investing in a new graphics card to replace my 4mb onboard card. It needs at least 32mb of memory and cannot support multi monitor display, it will also have to be able to disable my onboard graphics, and fit on pci slot (i don't have an agp slot). I would also like to keep it under $100. Thank you for any suggestions.

Hello,

I recommend you take a look here :

http://www.tomshardware.com

Doubtless you will get all sorts of recommendations from other posters as to what card to buy. But the above site has benchmark tests across the whole range, links best buys etc ....

Hope you get what you're looking for,

Howdy there emailgarym...

it will also have to be able to disable my onboard graphics
The card will not do this, you will have to disable it either via the BIOS, or a jumper on the mother board...
